From small Waree Palm who’s inter heartwood can be eaten to the sometime giant Cohune Palms that are found in abundance through out most of the rainforest. The stately Cohune Palms provide large clusters of fruit, the heart can be eaten, and the fronds are woven into thatched roofs for shelters. The tropical rainforest provides some clean water if you know when to find it. There are three different species of water vines that will provide life sustaining clean water. Some being slightly bitter while other species provide a sweet abundance’s of life saving clear, cool fresh water to quench your thirst safely.
